As 2014 is our 50th anniversary we thought we would organise an event to allow members (and their guests) to meet up socially. We thought an informal meet up in Cardiff would give everyone an opportunity to discuss the work of the society and how to achieve its aims.
7.30pm – Meet at the Goat Major public house on High Street. This historic pub will be remembered to many Cardiffians as the Blue Bell, but was renamed the Goat Major in 1995 after the mascot of the Royal Welsh Regiment. It was established in 1813.
At approximately 9pm we will move on to another Brains pub the Duke of Wellington. This magnificent red brick and terracotta pub is situated on the recently redeveloped Hayes, and was established in 1892.
Non-members are welcome at this event, and we look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.
Disclaimer: You participate in events at your own risk and neither the Society nor it officers accept liability of any kind whatsoever, however arising. The Cardiff Civic Society reserves the right to cancel or postpone event if necessary.
