Talk by Keith Moger Chapter Arts Centre, Wednesday 25th October 2017 at 7.00pm

Posted by on Jul 27, 2017 in Events | No Comments

Cardiff Civic Society has been very fortunate to arrange for Keith Moger to give a talk on Cardiff Hospitals from the 14th century leper hospital to the high-tech present day.

Keith worked in the National Health Service for over 40 years, serving most of his career as a senior manager in Cardiff.  During this substantial involvement, he worked at or was responsible for the management of most of the hospitals in Cardiff.  Since retirement, he has taken a particular interest in studying the development and history of these institutions, many of which have now disappeared or changed use.  Whether it is as a patient, visitor or member of staff, most people have memories of Lansdowne, Glan Ely, St David’s, Cardiff Royal Infirmary and the many other places which have provided Cardiffians with hospital care over the years.

Entry is £10 non-members and £8 for Cardiff Civic Society members. The lecture will be in the First Space room, upstairs at Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, Cardiff.
