CCS Events

This is the place to quickly and easily find out about future Cardiff Civic Society events - and now you can immediately book online. Many events have limited capacity so the sooner you book the more likely you are to get a seat.

There are advantages in becoming a member too: we’ll email or post to you early warning of new events so you get priority booking. It will also save you money. CCS has costs involved in every event but where they are a visit to a public building or facility where admission is not charged then we don’t charge anything.

For events which CCS arranges then we always make a nominal charge to help cover direct costs such as room hire, speaker expenses and publicity/mailings. If refreshments are provided as part of the event - for example, a buffet - then as a charity we seek to recover at least the whole cost of these. 

Even so, all the Society’s events are great value, a special way of meeting like minded people who are concerned for the past and present of our civic environment, and often given an exclusive insight into places and ideas that you will not find any where else.
